I tried that for years. The folder grew. The decisions did not get any better.</p> <p>What I actually want from a knowledge base is narrower: evidence I can stand behind. When the same question comes around in six months or three years, I want a memo with the inputs, the reasoning and the sources already in place instead of re-reading fifty bookmarks and hoping I remember why I cared.</p>
